About Us
Beaufort Association’s main goal each day is to facilitate happiness so that Participants can lead their best lives in an engaging, supportive, and safe environment.
We are located at 495 6th Street in downtown Courtenay, British Columbia. Our trained staff focus on providing support to 30-35 adults with developmental disabilities through our person-centered two core day-programs: Quest Personal Development Program; and Community Options Program.
Our facility serves as our base of operations. Each month we have a calendar of events and activities that keep our Participants actively involved in community inclusion. We have a fleet of vans to assist with transportation to community activities and programs at the Community Recreation Centre, L’Arche, Evergreen Seniors Centre, and North Island College.
We support each Participant by creating Individual Service Plans, have person-centered programming and offer two social enterprises Participants can get involved with – Litterbusters and Pet Treat Bakery.
